How your website or blog looks and feels is probably the most important part in getting peoples attention to keep them reading about all the wonderful things you have to say about your chosen topic and the best way to improve your domain is mostly through the use of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), but before you decide to jump right in and start doing some code here’s a brief introduction to CSS.

What is CSS?
CSS is normally used in conjunction with HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and is used to describes how your web page elements are to be displayed on your viewers screen and can be used to control the layout of multiple web pages at once.

Why use it?
CSS is used to define styles for your web pages, including the design, layout and variations in display for different devices and screen sizes, the style definitions are normally saved in external “.css” files so they are easily reusable and with an external stylesheet file, you can change the look of an entire website by just editing one file.

Now that you’ve gotten that out of the way the next step is to put it into practice so go forth and make the internet beautiful like it was always supposed to be.
